It's time to register for the 2nd annual Krogen Spring Rendezvous! It would be great to have you. This is a mostly social event of fun, food & friends at Port Sidney Marina. The town of Sidney is adjacent, so doing a bit of shopping, or finding a good pastry is easy. We will have continental breakfast on the dock, and a planned dinner on both Saturday and Sunday.
WHEN & WHERE: Arrive Friday June 7, depart Monday June 10 -- at Port Sidney Marina.
This is a great opportunity to exchange cruising information and summer plans with other Krogen owners. We will have a relaxed time, plenty of opportunity to talk one-on-one about cruising destinations, and for those who missed it last year, a chance to visit Philbrooks boatyard (pre-registration required) in Sidney. We will also have an optional Sunday bus field trip to Victoria! This will include the opportunity to witness the R2AK (Race to Alaska) in process! No sailing allowed in the harbor, so the boaters come in with various home made assists. Rowing, peddling…it’s always entertaining to watch them make their way to the docks below the Empress Hotel.
Sidney is also a terrific place to provision if you’re crossing the border from the US and heading north. Reserve your moorage for longer and stay to provision if you like, or go visit Butchart Gardens.

Friday Night: Potluck appetizers at the tent on the dock - Bring your fave!
Saturday: Meet in the dock tent for Continental Breakfast and to plan your summer cruising with fellow owners; An optional afternoon visit to Philbrooks Boatyard. Last year this proved very interesting and valuable to the attendees. A catered dinner in the tent is included with your registration.
Sunday: Meet in the dock tent for Continental Breakfast, further camaraderie, and to plan your summer cruising with fellow owners; Optional field trip to Victoria is planned where you can split off, or visit sites with others. You will also have an opportunity to see the Race to Alaska in process! A pizza party will be happening that night in the tent.
HOW TO REGISTER:

Step 2: Marina registration is done separately. Please make your own reservation ASAP for slip space. The marina has asked that we register online rather than call. So go to https://www.portsidney.com/ . In the Comments field mention that you are part of the Kadey-Krogen group as the marina gives priority to groups. The marina will get back to you as early as mid-April with a confirmation of your stay.
