WHAT: The NW Kadey-Krogen Mini Rendezvous in Sidney BC
WHEN: Arrive Friday May 15th -- Depart Monday May 18th
WHERE: Port Sidney Marina, Vancouver Island
This is a great opportunity to exchange cruising information with other Krogen owners. We will have a relaxed time with plenty of opportunity to talk one-on-one about cruising destinations, places to anchor, where to find provisions, take the pet ashore or maybe find a cold beverage!
Special this year we will meet and talk with Canadian Fisheries about local BC topics.
Sidney is also a terrific place to provision while you are out cruising or continuing on North. Reserve for longer and hangout in Victoria or go visit Butchart Gardens!
Friday Night: Potluck appetizers at the tent on the dock - Bring your fave!
Saturday: Meet in the dock tent for Continental Breakfast and to plan your summer cruising with fellow owners. Maps will be spread out and cruising locations discussed. Bring your own maps to share your favorite anchorages, far away pubs and hiking spots. Meet representatives from Canadian fisheries to talk all about fishing, whale watching and more!
Sunday: Meet in the dock tent for Continental Breakfast, further camaraderie, and to plan your summer cruising with fellow owners. Late afternoon meet up back at the dock for some fun knot tying making mats, wreaths and more, followed by a Pizza Party in the tent.
After our daily morning meetups there are numerous options for a fantastic fun in Sidney!
- Picnic and hiking fun at Sidney Spit; go by dingy or foot ferry from the marina
- Meander thru the wonderful town of Sidney eating, drinking, and shopping
- Take a local bus to Victoria for all kinds of adventurous fun

Join us September 18th - 21st for the Krog-in Fall Rendezvous! Come spend a long weekend in the charming small town of Anacortes with its stunning views, outdoor adventures, and historic downtown.
This rendezvous is a great event to learn all about your Krogen! Here you'll meet other Krogen owners and share dock side stories, DIY's, tips and tricks. Attend the speaker sessions to hear from expert presenters who are excited to share their nautical know-how on helpful information concerning the multitude of systems that keep our KK's afloat and going.
This event is a deeper dive with a busier schedule but still time to meet new friends and enjoy Anacortes. We'll play some games, share in some amazing dinners, proudly assemble our fido sailing mates for a grand puppy parade, explore the fun town of Anacortes with its great weekend market, maritime museum, restaurants, live music and more!
